the broken earth.

i want vs. i need.

the gap between wealth and poverty is growing so very steadily.
the middle class is virtually disappearing, as we are shoved into
one category or another. theres the victoria beckhams, and then...
theres the typical, everyday people that nobody sees. i dont know
why we care so much about the super skinny screwed up stars, but
we do. we spend more time reading about their crap than we do
our broken families. who gives a rip about the millions and millions
dying worldwide anyway? doesnt affect you... doesnt affect me.
wrong. it does affect you. you have an option to eat, you have an
option to live. but we dont recognize that as a privilege. its our right?
it is not our right. just because you live where you do, doesnt mean you
get to watch broken nations dream. that is not your right. why do you
live in canada? why the heck am i here and not in malawi?
i get so angry that i am a canadian sometimes... because
of the stereotype that white people are in. i hate the stereotype of rich and
careless, but as much as i hate it, i fit into it. not because i want to... it is not
because i want to. it is because im a white canadian with everything i want.
its a battle between our wants, their needs. our pride, their life. do you realize
it isnt our right to watch nations die off? were giving starbucks their hope. i can
be as ripped off as i want, but if i dont make some sort of step, i can forget about
her hope.

gone.
1

3
gone.
1

..gone.

there. three people died. and then another. and now... another.

theyre starving. theyre crying for hope and we dont give a rip?

get over yourself.

get over your wants.

get over your "needs."

put somebody else before yourself. do something, would you?
do you want to be clumped into that sterotype? tough beans, friend.
youre in that stereotype, and its your responsibility to prove yourself
real. you dont need it. you know you dont need it. sacrifice something
for the sake of someone else. even one. even one person... every one person
affects hundreds. theyre crying, and if you'll shut up your ego for even ten
seconds, you'll hear it. you'll see it. i hate it. i hate it. i hate it. i hate it.
im not saying drop your every belonging, sell it and move to russia.
im saying be aware of whats going on around you. sacrifice something for
somebody else, because you dont have the right to stare at them while theyre
dreaming without an ounce of hope. you do not have the rights you claim.
our right, as canadians, with everything we need, is to put it all together, and
make a dent in the world's hurts, not to have a trillion shoes in your closet, and
if thats all you care about, you need to re-adjust your priorities.

"when everything feels like the movies, you'd bleed just to know youre alive."

WHAT!!! I wish my life was like the movies!!!!! like for example ...lost... i would KILL to run in the wilderness with mr. echo. mr. echo is so strong that he would protect me from the dark cloud, polar bears and the others. so... i dont need to worry. but, if i were in an adam sandler movie i would probably rather be shot than be alive. why am i talking about this? i need a topic. okay. i have one. natasha bedingfield did a coldplay cover... to scientist... oh em gee, I KNOW!! it blows. like, for real, so bad. i didnt even recognize it. i dont think i will ever listen to her again. why is it that over people think that they can go ruin somebody else's song just because they have a record deal? man, if i had a record deal, i would never do that. well, maybe if i was lindsay lohan or paris hilton who have a record deal without any good songs... i might. but, i would never be either of those, considering... well.. . we all know why i wouldnt be one of those. this all started about 54 minutes ago when i logged onto YouTube. I typed in "Iris" and this beautiful song pops up, like its my long lost lover. It would be rude for me to ignore my long lost lover, so I quickly threw my hand on the mouse (because I am on a PC! SHUT UP! I KNOW!!) and I clicked on Iris. My consequences were quite rewarding. But then... I noticed Avril Lavigne did a cover WITH Goo Goo Dolls, so I clicked that. It was dumb. Anyway, then I noticed that Avril Lavigne did a cover for Coldplay. So I clicked that. Then I noticed Natasha Bedingfield did too... so I clicked it. It was horrible. For real, I wanted to reach into the computer, grab her shoulders with long fingernails, squeeze and shake her repeatedly until she stopped singing, if thats what you call it. wait a second. its november fifth. what the heck? facebook said to vote yesterday! isnt that on nvember fiftEENTH? anyway!!@ natasha bedingfield . . . please keep your pocketful of sunshine in your pocket, because... well, frankly, nobody likes the sunshine thats coming out. back to elections.
i find john mccain a cudly grampa kind of guy. he would do good at the baby holding part... but mr. obama is one fierce lion. i bet if jack tortured him, he wouldnt even give up. but mr. obama wouldnt be like charles logan who gave the terrorists the go ahead to bomb the entire flippen nation. so. . .in the words of mercedes gaglardi... "mr obomo! i vote you!"

my life is so perfect, just like the elves!!~

“Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could only do a little.

is that not entirely applicable to each person...? im a youth. i am a tiny little speckle on this ginormous planet. what does it matter what i do? iv been in this virtual argument with the two ppl on my shoulders. the good guy and the bad guy. mainly about working on social justice fundraisers etc, because it seems like what takes so much time, effort, energy and resources comes out with only a relatively small profit. but, would it make me better to do nothing, because what im doing wont make a large dent in the world's problems? not really. not at all actually... it wouldnt be so much more helpful to have a group of people all workingg together for the same thing, but that only happens in the perfect la la land of the little elves with gingerbread houses and unlimited sugar. oh, to be an elf. . . . . anyway. i was talking to this relatively new friend of mine who wants to be a football player. he's very cool, and sports are his passion. i told him i would rather eat my own foot than watch an entire sports game and he almost fell because of death, i bet. typically, i like to think well before i speak, but in this case i wrote exactly what came to mind exactly when it did. i told him everything i thought of sports, darn it, and i was right!!! well... he didnt like that alot, needless to say!! but i was all "sports are waste of money1!!!! bahhh!! bunch of money hoggin princesses!!!!1#1!#1[kq1jkl14~!~~~ %! well, perhaps a hasty answer, yes? yes. i agree. however, let us rewind, and color over that entireeeee segment with pretty little flowers and continue on as if it never happened. if sports did something productive and actually mattered in someway or another, well, i would be all over that. i just dont enjoy sweaty men in costumes tossing around a silly piece of rubber with their sticks. its dumb. my time would be so much better used doing exhausting projects that are doing something for others. yes, i know. i am cheesey. cheesy? cheesie? whatevs. i am CORNY. cornie? corn and cheese might actually be good together... i wonder if you can bake corn of the cob in cheese. omg-oodness!!! yum!!!!# okay. back to mr. edmund burke. we can only do a little, but a bunch of littles make a big, and a big makes a dent. probably could have used a better analogy, but i left my frap on the stovetop. and its in a biodegrabale cup. so its... biodegrading all over the stovetop. and i kinda really have to go. i wish i lived in la la land. hhhh....

the jojo revolution

"its what you do, not wht you say!"

"you say the words, but boy, it dont feel right."

"because to you its jsut a game."

"time has made me strong."

"its just too little too late,
a little too wrong,
and i cant wait,
but you know all the right things to say."

"you dream of my face..."

"it doesnt matter anyway."

"i was young and in love."

"communicate."

"you got a problem."

"dont come asking me for help."

"you know its too little, too late."

"be real."

"i can love with all my heart, baby."

*thunder*

"for a player like you, i dont have a prayer."

*hugs teddy bear*

"mhhmmm no no noooo."

"i cant wait."

*sings like a harmonica*

"you sya you dream of my face."

WOW! I have so many problems with this song. JoJo, you suck!!! First thing I would like to start with.... "I was young and in love..." ehm, JoJo, if you havent noticed, your like 10 years old. You cant even spell love. Pfft. Secondly, that bear your hugging is as big as you are. Thirdly, we all know the thunder was stretegecly placed in the song after it was recorded, which is also rather unfortunate. Fourthly, I just love when you sing so hgih and loudly that Im not sure if its even a human noise. Fifthly, your rhyming skills are so intense. Player... prayer!! Woah, baby. Sixthly, I totally agree. Anyone who wants to communicate has huge issues! How do you know if he dreams of your face? You cant tell someone what they are or arent dreaming unless your in their head! Are you a creeper, JoJo? Well, are you? Hmm... I think you have a problem. A problem with song writing, a problem with song ryhming, a problem with wearing weird sunglasses, and using corny lines. I charge you with lame.

Lets move on.

I read the Consumers Guide to Buying Electronics, and I am strongly considering rewriting it, because I find it a pile of junk. Who reads before they buy? Dont they know we buy things sporadically because it l0ooks cool at the moment? I should rewrite it. "Dont buy anything!!! Give all your money to the poor!!!!!" There. Done.

Aside from all this, my dogs are barking. All six of them... well.... normally I dont hord dogs, but this situation is a little different. My dog had a few... other dogs... I cant help but sing forth praises every time they pee on my floor. Its exhilarating. Really.... Im going to go drink a mocha frappuccino now. Im stressing myself out with everyone elses problems. Darn it, JOJO1!!! 1!

Later Dayzzz
